Autumn




Crispy leaves

flutter down

spreading

a blanket

of gold on the

ground,

scrunching

and crunching

under my feet

the wind

scattering the leaves

like terrified

mice

running

from a Cat.


This is autumn in Arrowtown

  2. I loved your poem joe. It was absolutely awesome! I have a similar experience when I was in naseby forest there were piles of leaves ! I really liked it when you said :Crispy leaves
    flutter down spreading a blanket of gold on the ground that bit was really cool
    I also really enjoyed it at the end when you say this is autumn in arrowtown that bit really makes the end bit outstanding :-)
